The ASTRA Conference 2008 provides the opportunity to showcase subscription television businesses, discuss critical issues and policy and inspire and stimulate the industry for the year ahead.
With new digital services providing thousands of hours of Australian and international programming each year to over 2 million Australian households (more than 6.1million Australians).
ASTRA 2008: Claiming the Future – a one day packed forum of discussion, presentation and interaction offering a stimulating opportunity for engagement with the Australian subscription television sector.

Enjoy breakfast with Jacinta Tynan of Sky News, in discussion with Beth Roberts, Executive VP, Cable Entertainment Business Affairs, Digital and New Business Development, NBC Universal.
This year $5 of every ticket for the breakfast will go to The Cancer Council NSW for breast cancer research and support services.
Due to the overwhelming response to the 2008 Women in Television Breakfast we are unable to accommodate everyone in the main breakfast room where the presentation by Beth Roberts is being held however we have booked another room on the same level of the hotel where we will be directly broadcasting the presentation. If you wish to book to attend the Breakfast the cost in this second room has been reduced to $45.00 per person ($5 of which will still go towards breast cancer research) to take into account the change in circumstances.
